Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel
ashamed. Then look into the glass and think about the workers
in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't
drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams
would be shattered. Then I say to myself, "It is better that
I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than selfish
and worry about my liver."

The Circuit (yes, there is beer involved):
Electricity originates inside clouds. There, it forms
into lightning, which is attracted to the Earth by
golfers. After entering the ground, the electricity
hardens into coal, which, when dug up by power companies
and burned in big ovens called 'generators,' turns back
into electricity... where it is transformed by TV sets
into commercials for beer, which passes through the
consumers and back into the ground, thus completing what
is known as a 'circuit.'

Financial Advice from SBBob
If you had bought $1000 worth of Nortel stock one year ago, it
would now be worth $49. If you had bought $1000 worth of
Budweiser (the beer, not the stock) one year ago, drank all the
beer, and traded in the cans at a redemption center, for the nickel
deposit, you would have $107. Given the current conditions of the
economy, my advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

The following is an actual excerpt from Forbes Magazine:
A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo, and when
the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that
are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herds as a whole,
because the general speed and health of the whole is maintained or even
improved by the regular culling of the weakest members.
In much the same way, the human brain can operate only as fast as the
slowest brain cells through which the electrical signals pass. Recent
epidemiological studies have shown that while excessive intake of alcohol
kills off brain cells, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells
first.
Thus, regular consumption of beer helps eliminate the weaker cells,
constantly making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. The
result of this in-depth study verifies and validates the causal link
between all weekend parties and job related performance. It also explains
why, after a few short years of leaving a university and getting married,
most professionals cannot keep up with the performance of the new
graduates. Only those few that stick to the strict regimen of voracious
alcoholic consumption can maintain the intellectual levels that they
achieve during their college years.
DATE RAPE DRUG WARNING
Police warn all male clubbers, party-goers and unsuspecting public house
regulars to be more alert and cautious when getting a drink offer from a
female. Apparently, there is a drug called beer, that is essentially in
liquid form. The drug is now being used by female sexual predators at
parties, etc. to convince their male victims to have sex with them.
The shocking statistic is that beer is available virtually anywhere!
All females have to do is buy a beer or two for almost any guy and simply
ask the guy home for no-strings attached unadulterated sex. Men are
literally rendered helpless against such attacks. Please! Forward this
to every male you know before this happens to someone you know!
another version:
DATE RAPE DRUG TARGETS MALES
(URP) - Police warn all male clubbers, party-goers, and unsuspecting
pub regulars to be alert and stay cautious when offered a drink from
any woman. A new date rape drug on the market, called "beer," is used
by females to target unsuspecting men. The drug is generally found
in liquid form, and is now available almost anywhere. "Beer" is used
by female sexual predators at parties and bars to persuade their male
victims to go home and have sex with them.
Typically, a woman needs only to persuade a guy to consume a few
units of "beer" and then simply ask him home for no-strings-attached
sex. Men are rendered helpless against this approach. After several
"beers" men will often succumb to desires to perform sexual acts on
horrific looking women to whom they would never normally be
attracted.
After drinking "beer," men often awaken with only hazy memories of
exactly what happened to them the night before, often with just a
vague feeling that something bad occurred. At other times these
unfortunate men are swindled out of their life's savings in a familiar
scam known as "a relationship."
Apparently men are much more susceptible to this scam after "beer" is
administered and sex is offered by the predatory female. Please!
Forward this warning to every male you know. However, if you fall
victim to this insidious "beer" and the predatory women administering
it, there are male support groups with venues in every town where you
can discuss the details of your shocking encounter in an open and
frank manner with similarly affected, like-minded guys. For the
support group nearest you, just look up "Golf Courses" in the yellow pages.
THE PHILOSOPHY PROFESSOR
A philosophy professor stood before his class and had some items in front
of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a large empty
mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, rocks about 2" in
diameter. He then asked the students if the jar was full? They agreed that
it was.
So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the
jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the
open areas between the rocks. He then asked the students again if the jar
was full. They agreed it was.
The students laughed. The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it
into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. "Now," said
the professor, "I want you to recognize that this is your life."
"The rocks are the important things -- your family, your spouse, your
health, your children -- things that if everything else was lost and only
they remained, your life would still be full."
"The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house,
your car. The sand is everything else. The small stuff. If you put the
sand into the jar first, there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks."
"The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on
the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are
important to you."
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play
with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner
out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house,
give a dinner party and fix the disposal. Take care of the rocks first --
the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just
sand."
But then...
A student then took the jar which the other students and the professor
agreed was full, and proceeded to pour in a glass of beer. Of course the
beer filled the remaining spaces within the jar making the jar truly
full.
Which proves: that no matter how full your life is, there is always room
for a beer.
DISTURBING BEER NEWS
Yesterday, University scientists released the results of a recent analysis
that revealed the presence of female hormones in beer. Men should take a
concerned look at their beer consumption.
The theory is that beer contains female hormones (hops contain
phytoeostrogens) and that by drinking enough beer, men turn into women. To
test the theory, 100 men were fed 8 pints of beer each within a 1 hour
period. It was then observed that 100% of the test subjects:
1. Gained weight
2. Talked excessively without making sense
3. Became overly emotional
4. Couldn't drive
5. Failed to think rationally
6. Argued over nothing
7. Had to sit down while urinating
8. Refused to apologize when obviously wrong
No further testing was considered necessary.

WORK VIRUS WARNING!
There is a dangerous virus being passed around electronically, orally, and
by hand. This virus is called Worm-Overload-Recreational-Killer (WORK). If
you receive WORK from any of your colleagues, your boss, or anyone else
via any means DO NOT TOUCH IT. This virus will wipe out your private life
completely.
If you should come into contact with WORK, take two good friends to the
nearest grocery store. Purchase the antidote known as Work-Isolating-
Neutralizer-Extract (WINE) or Bothersome-Employer-Elimination-Rebooter
(BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely
eliminated from your system.
You should forward this warning to 5 friends. If you do not have 5 friends,
you have already been infected and WORK is controlling your life.
Hymn #365
A minister was completing a Temperance sermon. With great emphasis he said,
"If I had all the beer in the world, I'd take it and pour it into the
river." With even greater emphasis he said, "And if I had all the wine in
the world, I'd take it and pour it into the river." And then finally,
haking his fist in the air, he said, "And if I had all the whiskey in the
world, I'd take it and pour it into the river." Sermon complete, he sat down.
The song leader stood very cautiously and announced with a smile, nearly
laughing, "For our closing song, let us sing Hymn #365,
"Shall We Gather at the River."
